About the client and role

Our client is in search of a Senior Sales Manager. You will be tasked with driving sales revenue and building client relationships.


  • Craft and implement tailored sales plans for sector-specific and client-centric strategies.
  • Analyze business drivers and competition to create strategic proposals for sustained value.
  • Develop a detailed industry map of top automotive OEMs and Tier-1 companies.
  • Coordinate with product teams to align offerings with market demands across the value chain.
  • Shape product positioning and pricing for current offerings to both new and existing clients.
  • Execute sales calls proficiently and be able to identify client needs.
  • Drive customer sample evaluations, secure new design wins, and foster strategic client relationships.
  • Convey customer feedback accurately to cross-functional teams.
  • Present business plans and lead business development strategies to executive management for approval.
  • Take charge of securing design wins and forecast associated revenues.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial and supply forecasts.
  • Foster respect-based business relationships across the entirety of target customers’ organizations.
  • Develop connections with potential new customers (OEMs & Tier 1s) to generate RFQ opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, business, or related fields.
  • Over 10 years of experience in sales and business development within the semiconductor industry, focusing on mobility/transportation, ideally with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers.
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring new business and closing major deals.
  • Have an established network and contacts within the industry.
  • Strong familiarity with sales and program management in the mobility sector is highly desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of semiconductor industry regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities, fostering teamwork with customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Ability to cultivate high-performing teams through fostering diversity at various levels.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings.
