About the client and role

Our client is looking for a Cybersecurity Business Development Manager to drive its growth strategy across multiple solutions. Your responsibilities will include assessing competitive positioning, formulating strategic plans, setting business objectives, and expanding market presence.


  • Develop and implement project management standards in collaboration with the Data Team for all digitalization projects.
  • Work closely with Senior Data leadership and central functions to establish a Digitalization Roadmap aligned with the business Long Range Plan.
  • Ensure all projects are deployed seamlessly with zero customer impact.
  • Guarantee that every project has a clear business case or addresses a specific operational/functional need.
  • Enforce compliance with the company’s Data Standards or secure signed deviations as needed.
  • Proactively oversee project timelines and stakeholders, ensuring effective management of team members.
  • Monitor all project savings and provide reports to Executive sponsors, Senior Leaders, and the Corporate Data team.
  • Improve Data Analytics KPIs within EMEA Seating.
  • Promote engagement and motivation among employees.
  • Guide the team on best practices and defined standards.
  • Spot high-performing individuals from internal and external sources for potential development into Equipment team roles.
  • Assist in defining the necessary skills within the Data Teams.
  • Enhance employee understanding of Digitalization, Industry 4.0, and strategic adoption of these technologies.
  • Help create a Data section within the Playbook, aligned with the Corporate Data direction.
  • Contribute to the development of Data Standards by providing feedback from project execution lessons.
  • Regularly assess emerging digitalization tools and technologies to identify opportunities for development and pilot testing.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years in business development, sales, or a related role within the tech industry.
  • Expertise in SWOT analysis and strategic planning.
  • Strong knowledge of e-mobility, cybersecurity, and diagnostic solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Ability to travel when needed.
